    Vacuum conveyor is used with great advantage in conveying dry powder or granular material. Vacuum conveyor also known as a Vacuum Feeder, is a kind of dust-free airtight pipeline conveying equipment that transfers particles and powder materials by means of vacuum suction. It uses the difference of air pressure between vacuum and environment space to form gas flow in the pipeline, and drives the movement of powder materials, so as to complete powder conveying.
     
    Working Principle
    Negative pressure generation: By working with a vacuum pump or vacuum generator, the air in the conveying pipeline and hopper is extracted to create a local vacuum environment, causing the air pressure at the suction port to be higher than that inside the pipeline, thereby creating a pressure difference.
    Material suction and transportation: Under the action of pressure difference, granular materials are sucked into the pipeline and transported upward along the pipeline under the drive of negative pressure airflow, forming gas-solid two-phase flow.
    Air material separation: After the material enters the hopper, the air is discharged through a high-efficiency filter, and the material is deposited in the hopper due to gravity. Some models are also equipped with cyclone separators to further separate small particles and ensure the cleanliness of the exhaust.
    Material release: When the material reaches the hopper or receiving device, the pneumatic valve or butterfly valve will open, releasing the material and allowing it to fall into the hopper or other equipment, completing the conveying process. The opening and closing of the valve is usually timed by the control system.
    Filtering and Cleaning: Filtering systems are usually equipped with high-precision filters to prevent dust from entering the atmosphere, and are also equipped with pulse cleaning devices to regularly clean filter bags with compressed air to restore filtration efficiency.
    Structural composition
    Vacuum pump or vacuum generator: It is a key component that generates negative pressure, such as using oil-free or waterless vacuum pumps, or multi-stage vacuum generators driven by compressed air to provide stable vacuum suction.
    Vacuum hopper: used for temporary storage of transported materials, serving as a buffer and transition.
    Filters: There are multiple options including polyester film filters, PE filters, 316L stainless steel filters, titanium metal filters, etc., which can effectively prevent powder and particles from entering the vacuum pump and dissipating into the atmosphere, achieving the separation of materials and gases.
    Compressed air blowback device: During the material conveying process, compressed air is filled into the blowback tank. When a certain amount of dust accumulates on the surface of the filter, the compressed air in the blowback tank is released to generate pulsed airflow and vibration, automatically cleaning the dust and particles adhering to the filter element.
    Pneumatic discharge door device: controls the discharge of materials, automatically opens the discharge door when the set material conveying volume or time is reached, and releases the materials into downstream equipment.
    Material level automatic control device: Real time monitoring of the material height in the silo through sensors. When the material reaches the set low level, it automatically starts conveying; When reaching a high level, stop conveying to avoid material overflow.
    Stainless steel suction port and conveying hose: The stainless steel suction port is used to suction materials, while the conveying hose connects the suction port to components such as the vacuum hopper to achieve flexible conveying of materials.
