Working Principle
Multi effect evaporation principle: A three effect
evaporator consists of three interconnected evaporators, namely one effect, two effect, and three effect. The evaporator with steam is the first effect, which uses an external heat source (such as steam) to heat the wastewater and generate secondary steam. The second effect evaporator uses the secondary vapor generated by the first effect evaporator as a heating source to heat and evaporate wastewater. The third effect evaporator uses the secondary vapor generated by the second effect evaporator as a heating source to continue heating and evaporating the wastewater. By controlling the pressure and boiling point of the solution inside the entire set of three effect evaporators to appropriately reduce them, the secondary steam generated by the previous evaporator can be used to heat the subsequent evaporator, achieving multi-stage utilization of thermal energy, improving evaporation efficiency, and reducing energy consumption.
Falling film evaporation technology: In each evaporator, the solution is evenly distributed on the inner wall of the heating tube through a falling film distributor, forming a thin liquid film. The liquid film flows downwards along the pipe wall under the action of gravity, and is rapidly evaporated by the heat transfer from the heated steam. Due to the thin thickness of the liquid film, it has high heat transfer efficiency, fast evaporation rate, and is not easily scaled. The steam and concentrated liquid generated by each evaporator are separated in the separation chamber. The steam enters the next evaporator as a heat source, while the concentrated liquid continues to evaporate or be discharged from the system.
System Composition
Evaporator: including first effect, second effect, and third effect evaporators, each evaporator consists of a heating chamber and an evaporation chamber, and is the core component for achieving solution evaporation and concentration.
Condenser: Used to condense the secondary steam generated by the final effect evaporator into liquid for easy recovery or discharge.
Vacuum system: Maintain the vacuum state inside the evaporator, reduce the boiling point of the solution, improve evaporation efficiency, and also facilitate the processing of thermosensitive materials.
Material liquid conveying pump: responsible for sequentially conveying the raw material liquid to each evaporator and controlling the flow rate and pressure of the material liquid.
Condensation drainage pump: Drain the condensed water generated in the condenser out of the system to ensure the normal operation of the system.
Defoaming device: installed on the top or outlet of the evaporator, it is used to separate foam and steam generated in the evaporation process to prevent materials from being carried out with the steam, causing material loss and environmental pollution.
Characteristic
Significant energy-saving effect: Through multi effect evaporation, the heat energy of steam is utilized multiple times, which can save about 70% of evaporation compared to single effect evaporator, greatly reducing energy consumption.
High evaporation efficiency: Adopting the working principle of tubular circulation external heating and falling film, the material has a short heating time and fast evaporation rate, which can achieve concentration of the solution in a relatively short time.
Widely applicable: It can be used to handle materials with various properties such as heat sensitivity, viscosity, foaming, etc., and is suitable for multiple industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, light industry, and environmental protection.
