Project Background
The waste fuel oil wastewater contains a large amount of organic matter and a small amount of heavy metals. Traditional treatment methods are unable to effectively remove these pollutants, and they also have problems such as high energy consumption and secondary pollution. In order to achieve efficient treatment and resource recovery of waste fuel oil wastewater while meeting strict environmental protection requirements, the company introduced a two-effect plate-type evaporation system and selected 316 stainless steel as the main material to ensure the corrosion resistance and operational stability of the equipment. 
 
Process Flow
• Pre-treatment: 
 
• Filtration and removal of impurities: The waste fuel and wastewater are first passed through a filtration device to remove suspended solids and large particles of impurities, ensuring the stable operation of the subsequent evaporation system. 
 
• Adjust pH value: Based on the characteristics of the wastewater, appropriately adjust the pH value to ensure the stability of the evaporation process. 
 
Two-effect plate-type evaporation system: 
 
• First-stage evaporation: The wastewater enters the first-stage evaporator. Through the heating of steam, the wastewater is heated to its boiling point, and the resulting secondary steam then enters the second-stage evaporator. 
 
• Two-effect evaporation: The secondary steam continues to heat the wastewater in the two-effect evaporator, further concentrating the solution and gradually bringing the waste fuel to a saturated state. 
 
• Evaporation crystallization: 
 
• High-concentration: Through the two-effect plate-type evaporation system, the waste fuel and wastewater are concentrated to a nearly saturated state, and the final concentration reaches 99%. 
 
• Crystallization separation: The concentrated waste fuel oil is further cooled and crystallized in a crystallizer to obtain high-purity waste fuel crystals, which can be recycled and reused as a regenerated fuel. 
 
• Condensation and Recovery: 
 
• Condensate water recovery: The condensate water generated during the evaporation process is treated and then reused in the production process, thereby reducing wastewater discharge. 
 
• Secondary steam recovery: The secondary steam is condensed into water in the condenser, and then further utilized to enhance energy efficiency. 
 
Technical advantages
• High efficiency and energy conservation: The two-effect plate-type evaporation system significantly reduces energy consumption by reusing the residual heat of steam multiple times. Compared to the traditional single-effect evaporation process, the energy-saving effect can reach 30% to 50%. 
 
• Excellent crystallization effect: By precisely controlling the evaporation temperature and concentration, the waste fuel is ultimately concentrated to 99%. The crystallization effect is excellent, and the product purity is high. 
 
• Strong corrosion resistance: The main body is made of 316 stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance and can effectively resist the corrosion of waste fuel and wastewater, thereby extending the service life of the equipment. 
 
• High degree of automation: Equipped with advanced automated control systems, it enables full-process automatic monitoring and operation, ensuring the stability of the production process and the consistency of product quality. 
 
• Significant environmental benefits: Through condensation and recovery of secondary steam, wastewater discharge is reduced, meeting environmental protection requirements.
